Guest guest
Hi Group...wow so many of us had to go and go to doctors to finally have that nasty manometry test to show WHY we could not swallow our food. I suffered 5 years! My motilty was bad and my sphincter pressure 2x normal. Every endoscopy or barrium swallow did not show anything. They said since I am 55 they never thought to look for achalasia and its rare. DRINK WATER with your meals. " Hello the water comes back out too! " So.... They botoxed my esophageal sphincter 3x. It worked but then it stopped working. Off to New doc! I am 55 they never should have botoxed me, that should be last resort! Had Heller myotomy with partial fundoplication in October (laproscopically Dr Fabian Albany Med NY) Thank God I have been fine but I am now finding I am having the spasms again, not REALLY bad but they are there. Anyone out there have a similar situation? Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!!! [:x]
