No problem. It may be best sometimes to just ignore me. I don't mind

that either.

Then she is lucky. There are some here that would love to have someone

that gets it.

I remember before my surgery seeing tears on my wife's face when I had a

bad achalasia moment. I know it can be hard for those that love us. I

told my wife not to worry. I was in no danger. Don't you worry either.

There are problems to deal with in this and they are a pain but you can

deal with them. Don't worry about that. The two of you will sort it out

together with some help.

You are lucky too. You have ears that can hear (don't take that

literally, though in the context of an esophagus that can't swallow it

could be temping).

accepting the condition has brought her down so much

I hope so too. Try not to get too far ahead of her. It took me six years

of thinking about getting treatment before I gave in and had the

surgery. In the meantime there may be a void that food and food related

events have left in your lives. Be sure to find other things to enjoy

together. There is much more to life than achalasia and the things it

make difficult.

Hi everyone

Well not been here for a while now, Lorrain has had the Botox injections last

week and it does not seem to be working

Lorrain has a follow up with the consultant who carried out the operation to see

how things are going

Lorrain has been so low in her self but I am trying to build her up it's hard

More later this week after the follow up visit
