It was tough. I worry about everything, and I was a dad for the first time,

and she was 6 months old.

I just focused on the fact that this is not an overly risky surgury, and that

99.9 percent of these turn out just fine.

I also focused on the fact that this would give me my life back.

Within 6 hours of being out of post-op I was eating and drinking again, for the

first

Time in three months I had my life back.

Surgury of any kind is mentally tough, but these experts know what they

Are doing. Do not dwell on the surgury and think about eating real food in a

few days.

I was out of the hospital in less than 24 hours and it is the best decision I

ever

Made.

Let me know how it goes and let me know of you have other questions.

Angel,

It is scary, but having my myotomy was the best decision I made in my life

too.  It gave me my life back.  I prayed about it and trusted in God.  I will

pray for you tonight and you will be  likely be better tommorow than today.

Peace,

Jeff

Hello everyone,

It is good to see all the support for Angel, and others here. & nbsp;

Feeling alone and misunderstood is off of Angel's list of things to worry about

and that's thanks to you.

Stress isn't good for us and we are all well served to get better at handling

it.... I'll let you know when I get good at it. I really try to do the basic

stuff, like banishing self-destructive and negative thinking and it helps.

Flying was a guarantee for spasms, but I have three spasm free flights now and

hope to make it four on Tuesday.

, hope you are sleeping. Not that you asked, but i thought I would chime

in; I had my heller 5 years ago and it went great. I eat perfectly for about 8

months. I think my E " settled " a little after that. It was nothing major, but

ever since I jus need a little water to get some foods down. Still I eat

whatever I want whenever.
