Guest guest
I've been taking a smooth muscle relaxer for about a month and a half now and its been working well for me to be able to eat. As long as I take my time I can eat anything. I let the pill disolve under my tounge and an hour later I can eat. Its not 100% normal swallowing of course but its much improved to where I don't regurgitate. I don't appear to have any of the side affects that are listed as possible such as sleepyness, blurred vision or headaches. Dr. Cohen told me he doesn't like meds as a long term solution because of the possibility of aspirating anything thats left over in my E at nite time. Thats why he said I should have surgery, but then he said I will mostly likely develop acid reflux from the surgery. Isn't reflux at nite time when you're laying down a big problem with reflux too? So why would I stop taking this med to have surgery which will then most likely require me to take another med (nexium) for the rest of my life?
