Guest guest
the lap procedure is pretty quick and easy. It's good you're going to TCC, they are certainly among the best. You'll need to take it easy for a few weeks and stick to soft, bland foods for a few weeks but the surgery should help you eat better and have less regurg during the night so you'll get some good rest. As far as nursing, you'll probably need to pump and dump for a few days and then it's going to depend on how much pain med you'll take. I would speak with your OB/pediatrician ahead of time and ask them about your pain management and then discuss options with your surgeon. Some people only take narcotics for a day or two and are then able to go to tylenol or ibuprofen after that. I wish you well and keep us posted, we're here to help!! ~ in NC mom to 5 and 7 yo girls, both pregnancies with A, both girls very healthy!!
