Guest guest
Dear , I hope that this is not innappropriate, but you really made me laugh to think that you were sending a message to the Group while you were still in the procedure room. I think that that one must be a first! Congratulations! LOL I had a messy time with my manometry test too. I co-operated the best I could but they could not get beyond the LES. It seems pretty logical to me that that would be a common thing to happen. After all, isn't this what achalasia is all about - failure of the LES to relax and allow the passage of food, fluid or a horrible tube? As someone else mentioned, they will have got the measurements of the degree of peristalsis and pressure in the oesophagus. I don't think that they will have much difficulty in diagnosing from that. I keep thinking about you doing that message. You crack me up. Best wishes to you from Ann in England.
