Guest guest
Hi all I had my myotomy surgery last Monday 18/1, and so far I'm doing well with full fluids. Spent 2 nights in hospital, the anesthetic and pain killers knocked me around a bit. Was on clear fluids for 3 days post op, and I'm on full fluids now. I have had the worst spasms since the op and its so hard because I couldn't head them off with crackers/icy water like I did before surgery. I see the surgeon again Thursday and I can then progress to purees. Again I'm so grateful for this site as it was able to give me so much information about achalasia, the surgery, what to expect, what to eat etc. Regards Sofia
Guest guest
That is good news. Things will get better in time. Do not be in a hurry to eat everything. Take your time. Glad you are doing better. in Georgia ---------- Sent from AT & T's Wireless network using Mobile Email - 1 week post myotomy and doing OK Hi all I had my myotomy surgery last Monday 18/1, and so far I'm doing well with full fluids.
