Guest guest
Hubby had myotomy (thoracic keyhole) in August 2009 and a dilation last Monday. They said they'd " stretched it wide " so I can't tell you how many millimetres. But all in all that was his 6th dilation - he's also had two Botox. The dilation he had last week has not worked. So my question is: is it usual to have a 2nd dilation after myotomy, and would you suggest they did another manometry test first, rather than just an endoscopy? Any views or experiences would be welcomed appreciatively.
