Guest guest
Hey there, I am a mom of 2 special needs children. has Achalasia, she is now going to be 10 years old in May. She is doing great by the way. My question: Has anyone had an adult tooth " not erupt " ( not come out)? Has anyone had a tooth turned on it's side( the top of the tooth facing the tooth in front of it)? Just wondering? I always wonder if " problems " with my kids medically are related to their diagnosis, or just weird stuff that happens to our family. We are off to see an oral surgeon for , age 11.5 years old. Thanks.. I understand if it is totally unrelated. Thanks again DANA
Guest guest
When I was in 2nd grade, my right front baby tooth on top never got loose. X-rays revealed that I had two " adult " teeth, but the first one was " dead " and so it wasn't erupting, and it was in the way of the " good " tooth behind it. I had my baby tooth and the dead tooth removed surgically, but by then the good tooth had given up. Three years later, I had more surgery that removed the tissue around the good tooth, and then braces were applied to pull the tooth down manually over the next couple of years. Not sure if that helps you any... Debbi in Michigan
