anyone deal w/Dr. Richter at Temple Hospital

Hi Anita,

I'm seeing Dr. Richter next week. I've heard that dialations are more effective

on older patients and women while the surgery is more effective for men and

younger patients. Would you mind if I asked you age? How long ago did you have

the dialation? Was it an easy process?I appreciate you writing back.

Hi Anita,

I saw Dr. Richter today. He was very nice and remembered you as soon as I

mentioned your name. He said I was a good candidate for myotomy or dilation.

When you had the dilation what was involved? Did you have to go on a liquid diet

before hand or just fast for 12 hours? Where you able to eat regularly

afterwards or did you have to go on a soft diet?

Hi Vicky:

I fasted before my dilatation. I could eat soft food the next day and

everything after that.
