Guest guest
I have been getting what feels like a flutter in my upper chest. It also feels kind of like my heart skipping a beat, or a " deep " beat. When it happen I feel kind of tired. It isn't painful, but it is alarming and sometimes I feel like I need to sit down. Now I have been in to the emrgency room twice for this and in one case was held overnight for observation. They found nothing wrong in both cases. I have not had a stress test. My GI doc believes I have achalasia and has suggested that maybe the " flutter " is my esophagus doing strange things. Again, it is not painful, but rather alrming and makes me kind of feel out of breath for a few seconds. Could this be an esophageal spasm? Or would those be painful? Thanks!
