Guest guest
Dear Tim, Â I am dismayed to hear your news and you must feel as if this is a rotten way to end the year. So - another mountain to climb. I think that at this point you have every right to feel sorry for yourself for a while. THEN, you can grit your teeth and deal with what must be done. You have everything going for you in the way of a good Surgeon and family support. Try to keep thinking about it as a technical operation, as opposed to a life and death one, which is something that a lot of other people are facing. Â I know that it's alright for me to talk- I only have to write words to you. Â Thankfully we have our ectomy elders on hand who really and truly know how to help you. Â I wish you the best of luck and I wish you a positive 2010, a year that will bring a big improvement in your life. Â Love from Ann xx PS Should we call you " Little Tim " now? (re your subject line). Are you any relation to Tiny Tim? Guest guest
Hi Tim, Well, the best I can say is be positive, and just think of how good you are going to feel in the summer! I know it's a huge operation, but you've already been through it and know what to expect. I truly don't know if that is better or worse for you, but I just know that if I can feel this great, so can you! I truly hope that having an esophagectomy will make you 100% better. I have a few minor issues, but it's from overeating or drinking too much water with a meal. All the best wishes for you Tim, Thunder Bay, Ontario achalasia From: timwilson12@...
