Guest guest
...thanks for making me laugh out loud today! I will have to use that " fix it or adopt him " line! Guest guest
Kathy, Thank you for your concern. I am having difficulties with right now. He is not behaving in school like I had hoped. He is stubborn, yelling " No " when asked to go to his seat, climbing on counters and his desk, running away. Basically, it's like he can't sit still. After a full day at school it's like he's more hyper than ever and wearing me out everyday. I have headaches every night and want to sleep all the time. He got away from us again this past weekend. We decided to go to my parents condo and go boating and jet skiing to keep occupied, which worked until Saturday night. He didn't want to eat, so he went into the house and played with his cars. After a while something bothered me to check in on him and I couldn't find him anywhere. A few minutes later, he came in from the garage and put a key down on the counter (probably where he found it). I knew that if he was having fun, he would still be outside, so I decided to check it out. Sure enough, there were the neighbors that live below saying that he had gotten into their car and was playing with their garage door and came into their home. I am going through a lot right now. I don't know where to go or what to do. I have taken him off of the Ritalin, but he is still on the Paxil. We are seeing a Psychatrist on Tuesday to hopefull help us out with medication management. I had a feeling that the Ritalin was making him hyper. I just feel like we have too many drs perscribing all these different medications, but nobody wants to help make sure they are working. I'm very overwhelmed right now. School has been a nightmare for his teachers. I am thankful in a way because I was told unless he has problems the first 6 weeks of school, it would be hard to prove that he needed more summer school. I just have a lot of research to do and not a lot of energy to do it. Thank you for caring. I try to peek in everyonce and a while, but you guys write so much, I can't keep up. I almost deleted this e-mail until I noticed it had my name on it. I'll try to keep in touch more. I also believe that I need to increase my meds, but I am in between drs right now and havent' found a new one. Thanks, Tollefson in Tx > > > > ???? > > How are you doing??? and the school situation?? > > Kathy > > PS Let me know if you need anything more!!!! > > > > >

Guest guest
Hi , I have also had a very successful esophagectomy. It's almost 2 years for me, and I feel terrific. Like said, I also eat carefully and slowly but I have always done that. I'm 43 now, but held off having my surgery until I was 40. I wish I had done it sooner, but I wanted my kids to be fully independant. After suffering for 16 years, my daughter still likes to go out for lunch and watch me eat! (She had never known the new " healthy " me) Yes, there is a lot of recovery time needed, but the results are worth it. Best of luck, Thunder Bay, Ontario _________________________________________________________________ New: Messenger sign-in on the MSN homepage http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9677403
