Guest guest
I used to get the same thing before I cut down on my meds. Folks really speak there mind on this site & when you read something it is often to take more seriously than you should. I think your meds are just fine. You are still working full time & if that keeps you functional what the heck. So keep taking your meds and please stay on this site. I have cut down on my meds and I am doing worst not better. I can't wait to get back on the growth hormone but I need to get a pit stimulation test first. So hang in there. Do you ever take a drug holiday on Ritalin on the weekends. I have heard that is a good idea. When I used ritalin I would only use in when I needed it but some folk do need it every day. take care Steve mcamp10139@... wrote: > In a message dated 4/15/00 1:48:11 AM Central Daylight Time, > egroups writes: > > << But please, folks, stop the knee-jerk reaction of > " wow! you must be overmedicated with so many meds! Guest guest
Hi, I don't know why people judge others meds. My mother doesn't believe in taking anything and always remindes me that I take " pills. " Well, when she didn't moniter her BP and take " pill " she caused herself permanent harm. As for supplements, people get in tizzy over this also = ex accused me of taking " Patent medicine " when the whey was delivered. Meds are between patients and their docs, and everyone else can MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS. Caps meant, Christie --------------------------- >I used to get the same thing before I cut down on my meds. Guest guest
I beg to differ. The sedating meds are all taken at night and have no effect on me during work hours. The other's help to correct chemical imbalances and make me better as a person, and consequently as a teacher. Guest guest
Thanks again for the wonderful feedback. If anything, it helps to prepare me for what is ahead. Apparently Dr. Darling did a fellowship at the mayo clinic, and she works at one of the number 1 cancer hospitals here in Canada. The way I look at it, getting the ectomy is also a preventative measure. It is so nerve racking waiting to see what is going to happen. But, time will tell. Thanks again for all the feedback, and I will keep everyone posted. This site is a god send. Nobody really understands what we go through, even the medical field at some times. We are probably more knowledgable about A than some dr.s lol Take care everyone and have a great week.
