I love the place! We live about 1.5 hours north of there, so we go there

2-3 times a year and stock up on wine. Our asparagus and strawberry patches

were begun with starts bought at Biltmore gardens.

Natural perfumery indeed might be a good match for the place. I'd love to

see someone try for that. I'd drive out there just to test them.

My perfumes are kind of something I furtively wear myself, and only admit to

when someone compliments me. I'm very insecure about my little

ensteins. I'd sooner read my adolescent poetry in public. Naked.

Since you mentioned north of Asheville, I feel compelled to tell you

that I was visiting a pottery 2 hours north of Asheville, in Laurel

Bloomery, Tennessee. That was a while back on my first trip to

Biltmore. I*m getting closer, am I not?

hey, what about s surgeon who did his -ectomy? He's in Atlanta, it's not

that far from Tenn is it? Maybe someone can remember his name, it seems like it

was something (real helpful, isn't it?)

also, when speaking with the surgeons, when you ask them how many whatevers

they do - do not accept - 'plenty'. In my mind, they are telling you they don't

do many at all.

When I contacted Dr.'s Rice and Luketich (by far 2 of the best in the NE) they

were both VERY specific (150 a year, a real number) about how many -ectomies

they had done, how many were minimally invasive, how long they had been doing

them etc. Dr. L even sent me, via email, several papers he had co-authored about

success rates, survival rates, etc. Don't accept vague answers - they are

probably backed my vague experience!!

my 2 cents
