Guest guest
Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but...there is a catalog and website called Super Duper Publications (www.superduperinc.com) that sells " Fun Speech and Language Materials " . In the Oral Motor Section, I found a few mouth stimulating items: Grape & Cherry Tongue Depressors Straws (of different lengths and widths...to stimulate sucking and blowing) Dentaswabs (to promote muscle tone) Infa-Dent (you slide it on your finger and massage and stimulate the teeth and gums) Nuk Brushes (3 brushes, each provides a different sensory stimulation) Maroon Spoons Linguistix BiteSticks Super Deluxe Mitt (stimulates the cheeks and face) Mini Textured Massager (increases facial muscle tone) We also use the Crest Spinbrush (electric toothbrush...$4 at BJs). It is a good mouth 'waker upper'. The speech therapist also wants my son to eat sour candy to wake up his mouth. Hope this helps.
