Guest guest
No problems... Good question though! Initially I suggested it to my Doctor as what my problem could be and straight away he said no as it was too rare so he new what it was but obviously not very aware of it. I was then referred to my local hospital for an endoscopy and straight away they thought it was A so they new what it was and what it looked like and what further tests to do to confirm it ie barium swallow and manometry test. The other Doctors I met all seemed to know about it and the surgeon I was referred to for the myotomy was well experienced with A patients and so far his surgery has worked 100%.
