Guest guest
Hi everyone, i just wanted to pass on some info which may be of interest. My son was diagnosed last december with apraxia, we started speech therapy and at the begining of May he could only say mama, dada, wow and the f sound when prompted. At this time i took him to see a crainal osteopath, ten weeks later he has 50 clear words and maybe another 20 or 30 that he is working on. He can combine 2,3,and sometimes 4 words and has no problem retaining them.I recently took him to see a specialist in neurological development who is familiar with crainal work and his thought was that has a structural blockage that the osteopath is helping, he also gave me some other things to do. If anyone is interested the website for the doctor that we use( Dolgin) is www.osteohome.com It has a lot of info on there. I just wanted to pass this on as i feel this could really help a lot of kids. We live in Los Angeles but there are crainal osteopaths around the country. Hope this helps someone's child. Kate.
