Guest guest
Oh you poor thing! That hasn't happened to me yet, but I am aware that it could and don't look forward to it. It's not only the bug itself which is distressing, but the thought in the back of your mind that you might be doing some damage. I hope that you soon feel a lot better and are able to catch up with your rest. Sending you a big hug. XX ....when I go to bed and am alone with my thoughts I get somewhat nervous and scared. ...I agree with Ann, night is a time it is hard to fight our demons. On a somewhat divergent topic, I had that brought back to me last night. I picked up some kind of stomach bug and spent last night vomiting. Even with the wrap I was able to bring stuff up but only a little at a time. I lost track of how often I was out of bed doing that, but I got almost no sleep. I can tell you I didn't have any happy thoughts last night. My body feels calmer now and I just got up to try a Popsicle (an old friend from the post surgery days I still keep around) and a little diet soda. It seems to be going okey but I am so tired. It reminds me of the bad nights before surgery, when I would wake up over and over felling like I was drowning from regurgitation. I dreaded going to sleep. It wasn't just the drowning. Even worse was the state of mind I would end up in. All kinds of troubling thoughts and feelings that were not such a problem in the day time. Surgery was like a glorious sun rise. It may take a while for all the darkness to fade away but I expect you will be in a much better state of mind after you recover. Just let it do its thing in its own time.notan Rise to the challenge for Sport Relief with for Good
