Guest guest Posted January 24, 2008 Report Share Posted January 24, 2008 I was diagnosed with Achalasia a few months ago and the doctors want to do the myotomy surgery on me. I am not thrilled with this idea and have been researching in libraries and on the internet for alternatives. I keep coming across numerous books that indicate that an alkalinizing diet may yield relief if not a cure. Everyone I see on this site is talking about their surgery and their doctors.
