Guest guest
I just found website you may find of interest. http://www.tolerance.org There are wonderful things here for adults and teachers, (you can even take a test to see if you have hidden bias developed by social scientists from the University of Washington and Yale University) But to stay on topic, under the " kids " section http://www.tolerance.org/pt/index.html click on the " Play " section called " World Without Words " There is a picnic, a zoo, and a classroom section to enjoy and learn from in the " World Without Words " (OK-so it's pushing it but it's somewhat relevant to apraxia because of the title) Speaking of the zoo section-I went with Tanner and Dakota today to the zoo and they both were very interested in where each of the animals came from, what they eat, etc. Tanner, who is 5 years old and apraxic, practiced saying each of the animals names after my 7 year old Dakota read them off the signs. This was a great website for all of us to learn more after we came home.
