Dear Deb, Thank you for that beautiful post. You must have given a great deal of encouragement to our two ladies-in-waiting, and Isabella. They know that we are all behind them 100%, but a post like yours is EXACTLY what they need to hear. I am so pleased for you, that you are progressing so well and hope that you will continue to do so for the next 150 years! LOL With love right across the world, from Ann in England XX Debbie Burt <debbieb55au@...> wrote: Hi everyone, Just writing to let you know that I enjoyed my first Christmas lunch in about 5 years last Tuesday. I even had some plum pudding for dessert. This weekend it was our wedding anniversary (28 years - can't believe it!), and and i went to the Yarra Valley and stayed at a B & B there. We went out for dinner both nights and i had steak for our anniversary meal!! (Well about a third of the steak) It was yum. Also discovered a wine here called Moscato, which my surgeon recommended as it is low alcohol (about 5%). I drank that in conjunction with a glass of water and didn't end up tipsy. So those of you post

ectomy patients who find they are getting drunk on half a glass of wine like i was - it may pay to look through your local bottle shop (or whatever you call grog shops over there) for the low alcohol wines. I wish everyone a very Happy New Year - i know you've been having really cold weather over in the northern US but it has been 41 degrees Celsius here! 42 degrees Celsius tomorrow!! Good luck to you with your upcoming operation - you'll be up and around in no time and feeling like a new woman - your husband won't be able to keep up with you. All the best.
