Have you read some of the recent posts? Between Isabella,, in Thunder Bay, Ginny, Mike in Va., , Deb in Australia, steve in England and myself- who else am I missing? - there has been a LOT of posting on -ectomies. Wow! not such a little group anymore. Funny thing is when I joined this group about 5 years ago I think it was only and then Joan. The good thing if you go back is that everyone who has had the surgery already is THRILLED with their outcome. I found out a few months ago I would need to go and ever since, every time I can't eat something or I have spasms - I think - 'not for much longer'. I have to say that scary as surgery is, I'm really looking forward to being an ex-achalasian!! Please keep us posted on your date and please make sure your wife or someone calls us when you surgery is over. Thinking of you, welcome to the club!! - in NC soon to be an ex-achalasian!
