Guest guest
Scratch MNGAS --practitioners of sadism in medicine, with wacky doctor on drugs, an organization resistant to patient concerns. In CA, the patient-doctor relationship was different. There was respect from both sides. Here the doctor respects him/herself and dictates a regimen to the patient. If a patient--like me, who has had achalasia for 29 years brings up terms like GERD, peristalsis, hypertensive LES, purge, aspiration---the doctors get suspicious. As a patient, you're supposed to be stupid, and stay stupid. Yes, I do insist on a mutually respectful doctor-patient relationship. many doctors don't like that power play. But if it isn't established early on, it never will be
