Has anyone had success with botox injections?

I'm a new member of the group, having recently been diagnosed with achalasia at age 65. In April, 2007, I had a thoracotomy in order to remove a thoracic tumor. I'm still healing from that huge surgery. I'm reluctant to have another surgery this year.

Has any of you had success with botox injections? What has been your experience with botox?
