Guest guest Posted October 9, 2007 Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 Perhaps I have been spoiled, but I have found when I ask questions using terms doctors use such as GERD, peristalsis, hypertensive LES, aspiration, etc; they pay more attention to my concerns, I guess you'd call that respect. In regards to the term " regurgitate " or " vomit " , I'm not sure the doctors understand the difference.
