We're going to Cleveland to see Dr. Rice

I just want to thank everyone who has been so supportive over the past

few weeks since I've joined this board. You have been an integral part

of our decision to take our son, (14) to Cleveland for testing

and consult with Dr. Rice and Dr. Kaplan on 10/1-10/2. We had a

consult with Dr. Abdullah at s Hopkins last week, and although he

is an " expert " (his words) in laprascopic surgery, he has only

performed about a dozen myotomies. No question - we're heading to

Cleveland. I'm anxious about going through all the testing

again, especially the manometry. BUT, they are going to do it

following his endoscopy, so he'll already have the tube down there.

is in very good spirits, and just wants to feel better. His

strength continues to amaze me everyday. Please keep us in your
