Guest guest
Hi - My son is currently under the care of a ped GI at Hopkins for Achalasia and it's apparent that he now needs a myotomy. I've been doing a lot of research to find the best surgeon for him since he's so young and has a long road ahead of him. Hopkins doesn't seem to have an " expert " even though the hospital has an excellent reputation. Several people have recommended either Dr. Rice in Cleveland (Tonia - thank you, you've been my angel!) or Dr. Dempsey at Temple. I'd love to hear feedback from other parents who have faced this decision for their children. Although we live in MD, traveling is not an issue at this point. Thank you, 's mom, Vicki
