Guest guest
Hi , I had my Heller done at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philly (not to be confused with University of Pennsylvania Hospital). The surgeon's name was Dr. Alan Schuricht. He did a wonderful job with my surgery and I know they also do ectomies there as well. It has been almost 5 years so, I'm not sure if his other associates are still there, but here is the link to his page. When I thought I was going to have to have an ectomy and preparing for it, he even invited me to watch a surgery so that I would know what goes on. However, I doubt I would be able to handle that...probably would have made me panic more ;-). http://pennhealth.com/WagForm/MainPage.aspx?config=provider & P=PP & ID=1672 Hope this helps, Rob > -- surgeons > Sent: 19 Aug '07 10:06 > > Anyone have experience with a knowledgeable surgeon in any of the > following areas: > > Virginia Beach/Norfolk > Richmond, Va. > Raleigh/Durham, NC > DC > Baltimore > > Maybe even > Philly > Pittsburgh > > didn't someone here have surgery with Dr. Lukevitch? Guest guest
I found Dr. Arregui's website: http://www.nadmds.com/arregui.html?1093025810528 He seems to have written quite a few articles about laparoscopic surgery, but I didn't see any that are specifically about the esophagus or achalasia. You'd have to ask how many surgeries for achalasia he has done. http://www.nadmds.com/arreguipublications.html in PA surgeons > Has anyone heard of Dr Arregue from Indianapolis, Indiana? > > > > >

Guest guest
Sandy, I believe that most likely this person's emails/thoughts were altruistic; however, I do not believe that a person should privately send one an email 'downing' their surgeon just before they are about to go into surgery; as we are so nervous and anxious at this time. It certainly was poor judgment. > > > Regarding the comments made to via CarePlace about her > surgeon.... we all love our surgeons. Guest guest
Actually there is a type of feedback system under Database. There is a Doctor's Referral List and Physician's Referral List. It would be nice if the two could be combined. In VA > > > > > > Regarding the comments made to via CarePlace about her > > surgeon.... we all love our surgeons.
