Guest guest
Hey, everyone... can't sleep, LOL. Putting the time to good use, I came up with a few ideas I would like to run by y'all. Creating Interest: Achalasia fortunately isn't Cancer nor does claim even a small percentage of affected numbers. Therefore, A assuredly does not garner the interest in research or finding a cure. WE (loosely termed, as I am not affected) could help increase interest. Fledgling, baseline thought: - As a group, we create a knock-em dead 'form' letter beyond compare. Include a few short stories (1 para. for each selected) about the journeys, selecting ` The best horrific surgical experience, including corrective surgery to correct the first corrective surgery ` Lengthiest diagnostic nightmare to obtain correct dx of Achalasia ` Youngest affected ` Etc. Include URL info to the group, inviting anyone who is interested to join. Indicate our interest in an individual with medical certification becoming a (loose definition) group moderator to help answer questions and keep the group on track, as well as to develop their further knowledge and understanding of the illness. The letter could also help point 'them' to the possibilities. Think of how many residents and interns who have yet to decide their path or accomplish that next term paper. After the last tweak to this letter, we could then ask for volunteers to handle the correspondence aspects. Subgroup of volunteers, in the interim of development, could collect names and addressees: - teaching universities - major hospitals - research labs Please share your further thoughts to mine.
