Guest guest
And I'm feeling pretty good! Still on the pain meds but I really don't think they are helping. The pain is a soreness, not like a stabbing pain. The gas pains are just about gone. I only really notice them at night. I think the worst part about the surgery is just that I have a small baby wanting to be held and taken care of. If I could just lay in bed all day (which I highly recommend!) I'd probably be over the soreness. As for eating, I say this now and will probably take it back eventually but if all I ever eat again is soft food and drink, I'd die a happy girl. As long as they go down, that is the key! I'm drinking rice milk ice cold from the fridge and it is going down! I do not feel like a freak anymore. I'm drinking Ensure like it is going out of style but it feels so good to be getting some nutrition into my body. Umm, what else. I took the bandage off of the incision through my belly button because my baby kept kicking it when I nurse him. There's not even a steri strip on it! I quickly peeked at another incision but because baby is hitting me and kicking me during breastfeeding, I chose to leave the bandages on my upper abdomen for padding. No reflux yet, no spasms yet. Life is good!
