Hi , and , Just a quick note from across the Atlantic to wish you well on your upcoming surgeries/tests. These are anxious times. I remember that when I knew the date or my surgery, I had my hospital bad packed already a few weeks in advance. I was over-organised and spent every available minute behind the computer, as to find the last bit of info on Achalasia and HM's that I wasn't aware of yet. As if that would help the time pass quicker!! It was just a way of dealing with it I guess. I so much wanted it to be over and get my live back. Then, when I was in my hospital bed the evening before the surgery, I was suddenly starting to doubt if I should have the surgery at all. Even though I could hardly eat anything, I was fooling myself things could always be worse.... I just got the nerves. When I told the nurse about that the next morning, she said I would have not

been the first to run off the night before LOL! It was my first time in hospital, so I was pretty scared. In the end, things were not bad at all and I don't regret having surgery for a second! Good luck and keep us posted! Greetings from Holland,Astrid
