Guest guest
Hello I hope you and are well, did you have a good Christmas? Looks like there are a few of us that have had surgery in the past 12 months some others that I can think of are Bimal, , Ray and Meena. Also there are a few that are due to have their surgery next year Joanne just up the road from me being one of them. I have managed to eat well this festive season after only managing a small amount of jacket potato last Xmas Eve and bringing it back up again several hours later. I went out with my family this year on Xmas Eve and managed to eat half a portion of lasagna which was a big improvement and yes it stayed down with no sticking. Christmas Day was a successes too so if anyone is still unsure about having the surgery take the opportunity and do it I got as low as 80lbs before I was taken into hospital for my surgery, and since then (Sept 23rd 2006) I have gained 16lbs and still doing well. Congratulation keep us updated on all your plans for your big day! Vince its been a while since I have seen posts from you but you were one of the first to give me advice and Its great to hear that you are doing so well. Guest guest
Pippa, I'm so glad to hear that you're eating well and putting on weight! It does help to look back to last year to really see your improvement! We spent 4 days with 's mom (she lives 4 hours away) over Christmas. She has lost her hair from the radiation to her head and was feeling weak, so she needed our help (and his sister needed a break). She has some swallowing issues, too, because her tumor is pressing on her E. She seemed to be getting a little stronger each day, though, and the doctors think the chemotherapy (starting this Wednesday) will help to give her a better quality of life (we're hoping!). Over the last couple of weeks, has only had 2 bad spasm days and I think he's actually put on a pound or 2 . Good luck to Joanne and all those facing surgery/procedures soon! in Michigan
