Guest guest
Good for you. Two effective ways to do this are to either buy a wedge pillow for reflux, or elevate the two top legs of the bed with bricks/cement blocks or bed risers, or a combination of both. Wedge reflux pillows (including inflatable ones for travel) are sold many places on the web, such as SeniorShops. Bed risers can be found in bedding stores. It's a good idea to keep elevating the head of the bed even after surgery, because peristalsis is most likely gone, so he will need to have gravity on his side. in Lancaster, PA wrote: > Last night (well this morning) when I saw that the time was > only 4am I yelled at him to prop himself up so he would stop > coughing and choking and throwing up.
