Dr. Waldhausen said the same to us when we were there after the surgery, but I have had this question on my mind way back to the time before surgery: Should we go to a GI doctor or a surgeon for the long term follow up? I contacted Dr. Waldhausen just today and he said that he leans towards, " no symptoms of concern, no testing needed " .
