Hi everyone,

This is ...SF Bay Area...

I'm looking for a Christmas present for my thoracic surgeon and I have no idea

what to get

him. Any ideas? My budget is $50-$100 (US Dollars). Gift Gard? Restaurant

Certificate?

Bottle of Wine with a cool French-Napa name...lol.? What would be too much that

he

would reject it under ethical reasons and what is acceptable?

UPDATE: Eating well...still need water, but much much less. No heartburns

(Thank GOD)

and when i have one it goes away in a couple of minutes. Food hasn't stuck in

my new

esophagus/stomach or a gastrophagus? Still have rib pain (for anyone who gets

the

Transthoracic approach...it'll hurt for awhile) and abdominal pain lingers, but

not as

bad....overall a progressive recovery on my part....hope to get back on my feet

fully next

year...If anyone gets this surgery...these minor complications are part of the

deal, but they

outway if I didn't get treatment for my severe symptoms. With time they'll go

away...

Hope all is well with everyone with upcoming surgery and post-op recovery. I

pray that

you all make a good recovery. Brr...its a bit cold here in SF.

Cheers,
