I had my HM with Dor Fundoplication (supposed to prevent acid reflux) on Dec. 18th and after 2 days I started to get severe acid reflux (heart burn). I was still on liquid/soup diet.Is this normal? My concern is that Dor..Fund...is supposed to prevent or make acid reflux low and I am thinking it is not successful on me.I usually get this late night (any where from 10 pm to 4 am) and then in the morning (empty stomoach).I take Tums (2 or 3, some times up to 5 in within 1/2 day) after I get the acid.I had some samples of Nexium at it seemed to help.Thank you.Rag (San , CA) __________________________________________________
