Guest guest
, Another postponement and you may never have your surgery. Dr. Dempsey is a good man; you will have great results with him, and then be better able to help your family with your SIL's condition. Go forward without any guilt being laid on you. You are doing the right thing. Now is YOUR time. In a message dated 10/21/2006 11:04:21 A.M. This seems like a good time for me to say to that I hope for the best for you and that your recovery is good. I will be thinking of you on Tuesday. I know that Pippa and I live a long, long way away but you will be close to us both in our thoughts. Your experience is so recent that I think you will be feeling her doubts and fears for her). Guest guest
you say in your message that you are tired of losing weight and feel awful you can not put this surgery off its YOUR time now and stick to your guns and get it DONE on Tuesday. I am sorry to hear about your Son In law but he is in the best hands and I am sure that the nurses and doctors will take good care of him, I'm also sure that he would not want you to put off this much needed surgery. 1 Month ago I was in the same position as you I was down to 80lbs and had to be admitted into hospital 4 days before my open surgery to be IV fed as I was so dehydrated. nearly 4 weeks on and I have put 4lb back on and am eating a soft and sloppy diet and it feels great to eat and not feel it get stuck or come back up. We are all here for you any questions you may want answering and support is always here. Take care I will be thinking of you on Tuesday, please let us know when you can how it goes. Guest guest
Dear , I think it is dreadful news about your son-in-law. You must be very worried about him. However I cannot see that it serves any purpose for you to delay your own surgery and think (although I realise that my opinion is not important in this case) that you have made the right decision. Guest guest
, In my opinion, you should go ahead with your surgery. Although it may not be at the “right” time considering the health issues of your son in-law, you have to move forward. You have been struggling with this for a long time, and you are finally getting things taken care of. You cannot continue on as you are, and although some family members may view your surgery as elective at this point, as in something you could reschedule, they do not know what it’s like for you. AND, in my opinion (as I’ve been told before), you need to take care of yourself so that you can be around to assist others and be there for them. You cannot put this on the back burner, but that is just me putting my two cents in. Good luck and I’ll be thinking of you and your son in-law, in NY From: achalasia [mailto:achalasia ] On Behalf Of Bartolino Sent: Saturday, October 21, 2006 10:52 AM achalasia Subject: Re: 4 Heller's in the next two weeks (Any more)?
