Im off to hospital later today for My Hellers Myotomy on Tuesday (I am

going to be IV fed for a couple of days to boost me up a bit first.

Will let you all know how is went soon.

I just want to let everyone know what a character Pippa is. She has sent me a copy of the instructions for her husband and family over the period - typical organised mum stuff. She could write a book. Despite the fact that she has had such a hard time, lost so much weight and had to face such a confusion of diagnoses, she has never lost her sense of humour. During my communication with her, she has made me laugh many times. I will ask her if it is ok first and if she says so, will share it with you. She has let me know that she is now in the ward. Poor girl is sharing with 7 elderley ladies. I don't think they will all be sneaking off to the nightclub somehow. (lol). They have given her some of that niphy stuff that neither she nor I can spell and she has been told to stay in bed just in case she keels over. Her sense of humour, I can report, is still intact.
