Guest guest
'It benefits no one to attack each other on this board. ' I've been reading all the posts here, and I will guarantee that nobody was being 'attacked'. Nor was anybody being rude. One thing that we all need to realize is that sometimes the intent of a message gets changed because of the lack of 'face-to-face' discussion. Sometimes written words can be interpreted many different ways. Believe me, Debbi would NOT be attacking anyone here. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met, and her main interest in this board is to help as much as possible. All this talk of being 'attacked' is one of the reasons I do not post here as often as I used to. And, by the way, I believe Debbi is spot-on with her analysis of our collective failure to communicate our symptoms properly. I know when I was in the hospital and the doctors were trying to figure out what was wrong, one of the things I told them was that I was 'puking every night'. Emphasis was placed on checking my stomach for possible problems because of this. Fortunately, one doctor saw what he thought was a slight 'E' enlargement on one of the x-rays. That doctor then thoroughly questioned me about my 'puking'. He actually told me that I was NOT vomiting, merely emptying the 'E'. I believe he used the word 'regurgitate', but also said that did not adequately describe the process. If I would have better described what was happening, I would have avoided several days in the hospital.mike in WI Talk is cheap. Use Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls.
