, I took Benedictin for morning sickness. I had morning sickness the whole time I was pregnant with . When was first born, he made gulping sounds when he would suck his bottle. I was always told by the doctor there was nothing wrong with him. When was 3 years old, he developed this rash all over his arms, face, chest, and back and again I was told that he was allergic to the dye in the clothing. I also asked the doctor watch how he drinks as would lay his head back like a little bird does to be fed and would swallow that away. The doctors at Columbus Children's Hospital said he did that to help open and force the food into his stomach. He and I were just wondering if anyone elses mother took Benedictin during their pregnancy for morning sickness. Barb Warren <juliecwarren@...> wrote: What was it used for???? I was told the same thing michelle, congenital. I know from

what my

parents have told me how I was when I was young, but never realized

anything. It wasn't until I was 15 that the doctors diagnosed me

with A. But what I always wondered is what caused it? My mother

and I wondered if there was any connection with a drug she took when

she was pregnant with me. Benedictine I think was the name of it.

Did any of your parents mentioned taking this drug? Just wondering.
