Why cant we just next the messages

I have been off the site for awhile and came back to, what I guess,

is suppossed to be an enhancement.

I was trying to read some of the posts in order like I used to, but

the next button does not seem to keep allowing you to read down.

Am I doing someting wrong? I find that I am becomming frustrated.

Each time I want to go to the next message I have to go to Messages

on the left and scroll down over and over.

Surely it is just because I am SOOO computer illiterate.

Anyone help???
