You may need to call and verify but as far as I know, as long as your

insurance coverage has not lapsed for more than 60 days, new insurance

cannot deny your coverage for pre-existing conditions.

They only put that clause in there so that you won't get diagnosed, buy

surgery for 3 months to get treated and then drop it again. As long as

your coverage has been continuous, you should be good.
