Guest guest
Hi - ahh, yes, the lovely spasms we are all too familiar with. I could go ahead and give you my take but what you really need to do is go to the posts and links sections (above left) and look up some very well done, concise, comprehensive information. Then, it's a lot of trial and error. In the posts section - make sure you read the pepto-pink NCCP post from Debbie. It's probably the best. then in the links, there's a whole section of different articles on spasms (again, frequently called NCCP - non cardiac chest pains) Spend an hour and you should be an expert!! Like most others, I have spasms sometimes but in over 20 years now, I've learned alot of do's and don'ts and so for the most part, I can cut them off at the pass. Please tell your wife there are some things she will learn to do (trial and error, not everything works for everybody) and they don't need to continue to be as bad. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone has found a way to prevent them totally. She's lucky to have you, support from your loved ones is the best we can hope for. Happy Swallowing! in Va.
