Guest guest
This is not the time to play around with the waiting game in hopes that things will improve. You need to get to a doctor NOW. Call your doctor and insist that you need some help now. If your doctor is not available than go to the emergency room now and get seen. DO not wait go call now or go to the ER. I have been in your place and it is not fun. This will keep getting worse as you get dehydrated. You need some relief and soon. in Suffolk In a message dated 6/16/2006 9:34:46 PM GMT Standard Time, lilac_blossom_lady@... writes: Dear Lillith, You cannot carry on much longer like this. Guest guest
hi, Lilli, take a look at your tongue. if it is white, try something with ginger and pepper. I had similar experience. it was two days without anything. I was admitted to the ER and they did not find anything stuck there. it is the LES was too tight. I went to acupuncture. it was not open right away. I got home and my boyfriend took a look at my tongue and it is white. he made me soup with ginger, egg, and pepper, not too hot. and it opened my LES. after that, I tried my best to fill me stomach. anyway, that is my experience. Guest guest
I am going to head to the pharmacy today to pick those up! Thanks! I haven't had much luck with water at all. I am able to drink hot tea most days. These last few days have just been awful though. I do have a call into my doc but I just keep getting his answering machine. Drives me nuts! Guest guest
Lillith OH Hon I’m so sorry you are dealing with this! I went through this too and I just had to sip hot liquids all day. It took me 2 hours to get a cup of coffee down, had to keep heating it back up LOL. I ended up getting an emergency stretch to help open things a little, this was before my open myotomy! It actually made things worse if that makes sense in the long run! But it did help at the time. I feel for you Lillith I really do!! Guest guest
I completely agree with , I too visited the ER to get rehydrated during that time. They were more then happy to hook me up!!! I felt so much better. My doctor wouldn’t take me seriously until I did this. Needless to say I don’t see him anymore. Guest guest
Lilli, I'm so glad to hear that you finally got some Ensure to go down! Did the doctor say anything about your barium swallow, or is that what he'll discuss on Monday? I can't remember, have you had other tests, as well? Please keep us posted on how you're doing! I hope this weekend goes smoothly for you and you can get more nourishment in! Take care! in Michigan > > I am having a difficult time keeping anything down.
