Guest guest
Hi Gail, Thanks for the empahty. My father's side also has a long history of depression (my dad, uncle, grandmother, grandfather, and even some greats I believe) but we haven't seen it yet in my generation or any of our kids so I wonder when/if/who that will strike. We have an expression around here, that after Racquel the housekeeper comes, missing things have been " Racqueled. I have suffered anxiety and skin rashes since childhood. I did have a traumatic childhood. As an adult, 10 years ago, I had tumors/hysterectomy removal(after suffering from female problems years) Then a tumor was discovered on my liver and removed, then a tumor was on my thyroid, also removed. My skin condition got so bad I now have lots! of scars from head to toe, it has existed since those surgeries. I lost all my teeth. I suffered but pushed myself as no one though I was to sick, just needed to push myself. That would help the very dark under eye, skin, etc. I went to dermatologist,dr. after dr. I tried all home remedies. I have bowel trouble, looks as if there is strings as well as normal b.m.! No dr. here acts like they ever heard of candidness. I have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Disable just in the last 6 months. I am now recovering from complete thyroid removal.(all my tumors have been non cancerous, i don't have the news on this latest surgery yet) I am certain i have scar tissue involved in my colon.During a colonoscopy for 1 polyp there was a turn in my right side that was impassable. I screamed with pain as I could feel tearing in there. I am afraid this will be my next surgery. A little background-As a child i grew up in an environment of physical, mental, sexual abuse. But also chemical abuse..A company out of new Orleans was sued some years ago for chemical spills in my hometown area.I was exposed to lots of things at home also. My father was a machanic and they poured everthing in the ground. As I speak I am taking antibiotics, I am not comfortable doing it but I have a large scar on my neck and must keep infections away. Do you have any input into any of this? What steps can I take to get better? I am hoping thyroid meds. will make a good difference. Also do you know if synthroid is dangerous? THANKS TO ANYONE WHO CAN GIVE ME IDEAS TO HELP MY HEALTH,I have a great zest for life and would love to enjoy it without sickness:) Sorry so long, hello to everyone...............Rita

See also Sea Buckthorn Berry Extract the most useful, in my experience, are Carrot Seed ( a MUST!) Neroli and incense. That's the blend that this granny uses. I can't find the post I saved on it, and my St. 's Wort is >blooming like crazy. Don't want to miss the moment. Becky, if you have a source for St. 's Wort blossoms and can make the infused oil, it would REALLY be a criminal waste to pour it into a soap pot. the BEST use for St. 's wort infused oil is for pain relief. again, from my website: Anti-inflamatory, particularly soothing to inflamed nerves, helpful for cases of neuralgia, sciatica and fibrositis. Effective on sprains, burns, bruises. Blending with calendula oils heightens effectiveness. We have found that St. 's Wort oil, with a few drops of Wintergreen or Sweet Birch Essential Oil added is the ONLY thing that will relieve the pain of gout. Try combining it with some Calophyllum for a pain relief blend for arthritis, rheumatism, etc. I can not WAIT until midsummer when my herbalist friend allows me to have some more...it is a WONDERFULLY healing oil... but I don't use it for skincare at all... it is so valuable as an pain reliever and anti-inflamatory, and really so hard to find " the good stuff' that's made right. Guest guest
Hi Everyone, For those of you that could not make the conference I'd like to let you know that it went well. It was nice to meet all the parents I have been talking to and e-mailing the last 6 months. I also enjoyed spending time with other Mom's and Dad's and sharing stories. I wish I could have spent more time with everyone but unfortunately I was running around making sure everything was going smoothly. I also wanted to let you know that there is something wrong with my post. I haven't received digests 277 to 282. Everything is fine now but if any one was trying to reach me I am not ignoring you I just haven't received your message. I leave for the shore Sat 28 and come home August 11. I need the rest and the time with my family! I have to gear up for the next Cherab function!!! I don't know if I will have access to a computer. But I will try. Take care
