24 hour PH test

I had it and it was much better than the mammontry.

The PH wire they put up through your nose and down

into the E is much much thinner the the mammontry

tube. Except for the fact it was taped to my nose, I

would sometimes forget about it, although when I

swallowed, I could kinda feel the wire, but not enough

to keep me from eating, 'course at that point in my

disease I couldn't eat much more than soups and soft

stuff anyway.

My PH test was done at UCSF and being country bumpkins

who live 4 or 5 hours north, we took advantage of

being in San Francisco. As soon as the tube was

inserted my wife & I jumped on the buses, cable cars,

etc. and went to China town and other tourist spots,

all with this silly wire going down my nose, BUT I

blended right in with all the SF weirdness.

The wire was attached to a computer thing around my

neck, so I got to watch the PH read-out go up & down

with whatever I ate or drank, that was fun.

Bad part was no alcohol allowed.

Bottom line, don't worry, it'll be OK. But I was

happy when they pulled it out.

I know it and I'm

getting VERY nervous. My test is on May 9. I know

but has anyone else out there had this test done

before?
