, I have set up several meet ups in the past. London was one location and Oxford was another location. I would like to meet up every month or every other month but that does not always happen. I try and make the meeting place in a location that is easy for everyone to get to. I will set up more in the future and I will let you know when that happens.

We almost went to Minot N.D.

Hey, N.D. is "all right", a good place to be FROM. :-)

The roads are generally straight. They don't have a lot of lakes in the

way like Minnesota, or mountains like Montana does. You can ski for

many miles without ever needing to buy a lift ticket, or worry about

injuries from crashing on high speed downhill runs. The ski patrol has

a perfect record of no deaths due to avalanches. Most of the year you

don't need to mow your grass. When you do, it is a welcome change from

shoveling snow. The cold is not too bad. The record for Minot was -49F,

which is warmer than somewhere like Antarctica, but just as effective

at keeping the riffraff away. The record high for Minot was 109, cooler

than the record high for Phoenix, AZ. When the weather is warm enough

(no ice) the combination of swimming in the local reservoirs with

fishing is hard to beat. After swimming the blood suckers you find make

great fish bait, so be sure to bring a barbecue. If you don't catch a

fish the mosquitoes are large enough to grill and taste just like

lobster (you thought I was going to say chicken). They are also good

for taking your mind off of those other bites from blood suckers, horse

flies, buffalo gnats, and tics. Also, the constant hum they provide

helps you fall asleep at night, like the hum of snow tires while

driving on an endless stretch of straight road. To rate the place using

the local descriptive terms of "not bad at all" (superlative), "not

bad" (very good), "not too bad" (fair) or "all right" (not enjoyable),

I would have to say it is "all right."

OK you No. Daks, I am just kidding, ... about the mosquitoes anyway.

Notan, that was pretty funny. I was up for N.D. but the rest of the family was not. They have no sense of adventure and they do not like the cold. They complained here about the cold and I thought it was great. OH well different strokes for different folks...lol

...likes colder climates.
