Guest guest
Hi, a, I think I had this test, if, perchance, it means the one where you pay attention to what you eat and/or drink the day before and then you go into the office and blow into a bag for about two hours plus. My advice (if this is indeed the test) is to take something good to read with you. My results were borderline, mixed and somewhat indicative of a bacteriological problem in my G.I. system. I later interpreted this as a combination of two things: 1. bacteria was being generated in my upper intestines, more than usual, because I have a slow digestive system in general, and, 2. bacteria was in my lower esophagus and was the direct result of rotting food particles that were leftover from incomplete or insufficient swallows. I'd be interested to hear from others on this site how they dealt with this test. It was not painful and it was interesting to hear the results. I was told that one form of treatment was simply a regimen of antibiotics. I passed on the antibiotics and returned home to consider the myotomy. all best, Deborah, at the beach, currently eating Haagen Dazs, (Strawberry, this time)
