Guest guest
I completely understand how you feel. I have suffered from sever low back and leg pain since a surgery I had for a ruptured ovarian cyst. I had never had leg or back pain in my life before that surgery. Keep on your doctor until he does something about it. I went through several doctors until I found one who listened and had the appropriate test done that showed I had herniated disc. Sometimes people can be in severe pain and they can't find a reason so they try to tell you that you are just stressed and it will go away. With doctors sometimes it takes a while to get through to them so don't let up. Make them listen. The meds I take are helping alot and the doctor I have had for the last 4 years is great. Also if you can try a tens unit if you haven't already, they help a lot. They are 4 electrodes you place where the pain is and the machine takes a 9 volt and it helps even better than the pills. You have to have a prescription to get it. I understand how pain can wreak havoc with your life. I have learned a lot about back pain in the last 7 years so if there is anyway I can help, please let me help get you through this.

I want to go back to the time when................... Decisions were made by going "eeny-meeny-miney-mo." Mistakes were corrected by simply exclaiming, "do over!" "Race issue" meant arguing about who ran the fastest. Money issues were handled by whoever was the banker in "Monopoly." Catching the fireflies could happily occupy an entire evening. It wasn't odd to have two or three "best" friends. Being old, referred to anyone over 20. The net on a tennis court was the perfect height to play volleyball and rules didn't matter. The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was cooties. It was magic when dad would "remove" his thumb. It was unbelievable that dodgeball wasn't an Olympic event. Having a weapon in school, meant being caught with a slingshot. Nobody was prettier than Mom. Scrapes and bruises were kissed and made better. It was a big deal to finally be tall enough to ride the "big people"rides at the amusement park. Getting a foot of snow was a dream come true. Abilities were discovered because of a "double-dog-dare." Saturday morning cartoons weren't 30-minute ads for action figures. No shopping trip was complete, unless a new toy was brought home. "Oly-oly-oxen-free" made perfect sense. Spinning around, getting dizzy and falling down was cause for giggles. The worst embarrassment was being picked last for a team. War was a card game. Water balloons were the ultimate weapon. Baseball cards in the spokes transformed any bike into a motorcycle. Taking drugs meant orange-flavored chewable aspirin. Ice cream was considered a basic food group. Older siblings were the worst tormentors, but also the fiercest protectors. If you can remember most or all of these, then you have LIVED!!!! Guest guest
Hi , I have neurosarcoidosis (same as Aisha) and have been on prednisone for the past two years, and it worked for the first six months, then I got really sick and had to be admitted to the hospital and submit to all kinds of tests including a lumbar punch. They then put me on gram of pred introveniously(sp) for 5 days and then 100 mg a day for about 3 months.. Sarcoidosis mimics a lot of different diseases including lupus. What side effects do you get from immuran and methotrexate? and how dose it make you feel. Thanks for your input. So, I snuck Leigh off of the floor into the hospital gift shop, and we let him pick out flowers to give her. That is sweet. At least you know that he isn't just stuck on himself. Not many 4 year olds would want to go to the hospital gift shop to get flowers for Gramma, without getting something for themselves too! It was funny. When I was wheeling her to the gift shop, nurses and doctors would give us weird looks because we were down there. I am coping very good. I love being a father. That is awesome, because you are going to be a father until you are 150 yrs. old. Or longer! They are so wonderful. We are very happy and proud. The only problem I am having is that I hate leaving them. Soon as I leave, it feels as if two big strong arms wrap around me and are trying to pull me back to them. I can not wait until all of us can go home. I am looking forward to that too! I want to hear all about parenthood from both you and Leigh... without the nurses as go between's. Leigh and I are trying to make a website. Do you know any good sites that let you make your own? If you go to some of the baby sites, they have all sorts of stuff like this. I'll look for a few of the ones I have seen. Just had a Baby? How about some free stuff http://www.tech-sol.net/interlinks/baby.htm Design & Promote Your Site... Free Web tools http://www.tech-sol.net/webdesign/index.htm Introduce Your Babies to the World... (Wide Web, That is!) http://babiesrus.toysrus.com/index.cfm?bt=1 & gid=1900 & amp; You might want to try going to one of the search engines, and type in Free Web sites. I know there are a lot of them out there! Leigh told me to tell you to keep smiling. Leigh has this thing about people smiling. She will not let anyone leave her presence if they are not smiling. She knows if it is a real smile too. I think it is because she is so happy to be a MOM, and although bad things have been happening, she wants everyone to be happy too! Just my opinion! Guest guest
Sorry to hear about how badly your wedding went. Leigh has went through a lot of times with family/friends where they did not and do not want to understand her health issues. Many whispers, many dirty looks, many rumors. I have never experienced anything like that. Even if I did had an illness, I know my family would bend over backwards for me. I can not imagine going through that. Every single person on this list are very strong. I am sorry about your bad memories on your wedding. At least, you are happy. As for our dreams ever being destroyed that will never happen. My dream is already here. A wonderful woman who i will soon marry, three angels, and perhaps more down the road. Guest guest
Aisha Take care of yourself Kiddo. We will muddle through without you for a few days until you get over this nasty attack. Wish I could take some of that garbage for you. Love and gentle hugs, Jo
